No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome at the Patterson Rd Church of Christ! We are a community of believers who take seriously Jesus’ command to love one another. We desire to extend that love and grace to all just as it has been extended to us. Our mission as a church is to make “More People, More like Christ” as we share the good news of our Lord’s death, burial and resurrection to all in our community and world!
What is your Sunday Service like?
On Sunday mornings, you will experience a worship service that is simple, structured but not “stiff,” friendly, and Christ centered. We are normally dismissed by 11:30 am.

10:00 am Traditional Worship(Currently Offering In Person and Live Stream) This is our weekly gathering where we partake of the Lord’s supper, sing and pray together and open the Bible for a relevant, encouraging and challenging message from God’s word. Our singing is Acapella and we encourage all to participate as we blend our voices in praise.
Children’s ChurchDuring our Worship gathering, children are dismissed approximately 15 minutes into the Sunday Service (after communion) to attend Children’s Church, aged 3 yrs through 5th grade.
Deaf MinistryEach Sunday we have an interpreter for the deaf at the front left of our auditorium. Please feel free to come to the front row there for interpretation of the entire worship service. |
What should I wear?
We encourage people to come as they are and to be comfortable. You’ll see people dressed in a wide range of clothing, from jeans to dress clothes. The preaching minister is often in jeans but occasionally will appear in slacks and even more rarely with a neck tie. We want you to feel at home, so come as you are most comfortable. We are a congregation of all social strata and different stages of life.
How often do you take Communion?
We celebrate and serve the Lord’s Supper every Sunday as a part of our worship Assembly. We invite and welcome all who believe in the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ to partake of the emblems as they are passed.
What about my children?
If you have young children, you can drop them off at our Nursery during class time at 9am. During our Worship Gathering we dismiss our children aged 3 yrs to 3rd grade (after communion usually) to a time of age appropriate “Children’s church” during the sermon.
How do I get connected?
We encourage all of our church family to be involved beyond mere attendance on Sunday. There are various opportunities, service projects and ongoing ministries as well as a need for every member to take personal initiative to get to know others, encourage, call, and serve those who have needs. You’ll hear about a lot of these opportunities from the time to time via announcement and bulletin (We can email you a weekly bulletin and there is a paper copy available each Sunday in the foyer.)
