Back in the spring when we started out Support Care Ministry, we were uncertain about how COVID-19 would impact the lives of our high-risk church members. During the last few months, the pandemic did not assert itself in Grand Junction as much as we originally thought. However, with the winter months approaching and a rise in COVID-19 cases it is important that we revamp our Support Care Ministry. Many of our high-risk members have isolated from the very beginning and many are starting to isolate as the cases rise. During the holiday season when many of our high-risk members will be alone it is important for our families to reach out with comfort and compassion. Calls, offers of assistance, cards, small gifts are all ways of making each individual feel included and cared for. We have a list of those who volunteered for this ministry. Please contact Sherry Crowe or Wilma Seela if you have questions.
